Manager — St. John’s Mercy Managed Behavioral Health

Primary responsibilities related to ForeSee include participating in Patient Grand Rounds to facilitate the identification of behavioral health issues for members in the Program and recommendations for strategies to address those issues.

Ms. Viehland is the Manager for Utilization Management/Quality Improvement at St. John’s Mercy Managed Behavioral Health in St. Louis, a partner with Mercy Health Plans. She provides leadership and oversight of the Managed Behavioral Health Department tasks including call center referral and authorizations, utilization review, discharge planning, disease management protocol, and case management. Ms. Viehland is currently responsible for the oversight of managing behavioral health benefits for over 350,000 members in Mercy Health Plans, union trust funds and self insured organizations.
